Membership Information

Membership Year
Membership is by Anniversary Date. Example: If you join August 15th - your membership is good until August 14 th (of the following year).

Membership Renewals

  • Renewal notices are mailed out three months in advance of your anniversary date.
    • Using the example above:
      • You will receive renewal notices monthly beginning in May.
      • If you renew anywhere after August and before March (six months), your anniversary date will still remain as August.
      • If you renew in March, you will be considered a “new member” and will incur a processing fee of $25.

Member Fees

  • New Member – first year - $124 (includes $25 processing fee)
  • New Member – first two years - $200 (10% discount and includes processing fee)
  • Renewing Member – one year - $99
  • Renewing Member – two years - $180 (10% discount and includes processing fee)
  • Student Member – one year - $45

New Member Application and Processing
Upon receipt of your membership application and payment to the CCASTD office, the information you provide will be entered into a database. Applications are generally processed within 24 hours of receipt and during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

Note: Individual memberships and the benefits that accrue are not transferable to another individual, organization or ASTD Chapter.

Chapter Membership and National Membership

You do not have to be a member of national ASTD to belong to the Chicagoland Chapter and vice versa. Click here
